The child joy of the carnival

There isn't much that brings back childhood memories like the childhood joy of the carnival is there? The smell of corn dogs spending your parents money to win a pride you could have bought at Walmart for $1 or less, cotton candy the sounds and lights if we could all keep that excitement and joy wouldn't adulthood be so much better?!?! The carnival is in town!!

Why do we only decorate at Christmas time ? Everything is brighter and more cheerful . Maybe we would be happier if we left our decorations up all year long.

Finally after over 5 years our Japanese maple has finally turned red!
It's funny the seeds we plant that we lose track of then they yield beauty , life is so like that , the seeds that don't take root and the ones that do that surprise us from time to time. It's almost never the ones you see coming in life. The soul mates the jobs where we end up seems little left up to us some times but the destination seems right.
